Adventure Next to begin in Bhopal on December 4
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh is getting the chance to host Adventure Next for the first time. This event of international level will be held at Bhopal on December 4 and 5. The event will be inaugurated at the International Convention Centre (Minto Hall) on December 4. The programmes of Adventure Next will be held at the Tribal Museum and Boat Club also.
The main hall of the programme venue is being named 'Raja Bhoj Hall', the Market Place as 'Chowk Bazaar' and the food zone as 'Annapurna’. The cultural programme will include Bharatanatyam, Mohiniattam, Adivasi folk dance etc. Among those talikely to take part in Adventure Next are buyers, representatives of the international media, sellers, office-bearers of Adventure Tour Operators Association and about 200 delegates of hotels, hospitality and tour operators. The event will mainly have B-to-B discussion.
For the first time in Asia and also in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, an important event like Adventure Next is being organized. Earlier, Adventure Next was organized in Jordan. The main purpose of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) is to make the adventure travel industry more vocal and professionally more efficient for the development of the estate.
It is worth mentioning here that ATTA, that was established in the year 1990 has nearly 1300 members in about 100 countries of the world. Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India Suman Billa, Principal Secretary Tourism and Tourism Board M.D. Hari Ranjan Rao will make presentations at Adventure Next. Senior officers of Tourism Corporation, Principal Secretary / Secretary, Tourism and Tourism Board from various states of the country/President of Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) Shri Senon will be present. Various office bearers including President of Adventure Tour Operators Association of India Captain Swadesh Kumar will also be present.
It is a good coincidence that the Ministry of Tourism declared 2018 as the Adventure year. Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand Tourism has been awarded jointly awarded the National award for Best Adventure State of Ministry of Tourism of the Government of India. Adventure Next will be kept Plastic-free. Use of plastic water bottles will be prohibited. Through this, the message of plastic-free event will be given. It is also important from the environmental perspective.
