Aim of “Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas”
Mhow. Addressing the second governing body meeting of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Social Science University, Mhow Governor Anandiben Patel said that development is possible only by moving ahead along with all the sections of the society including Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes. The Prime Minister’s slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas is the development of all sections and an effort to connect them to the mainstream. Governor said that the Centre and the state governments are working towards upliftment, educational development, skill development and in the field of social justice for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Through skill development the talents of youths from the lower level is being nurtured and job opportunities are being made available to them.
The Governor said that the participation of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, women and children should be ensure in social justice, economic empowerment and nation building by the Vishwavidyalaya as per the vision of Bharat Ratna Dr. Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Camps should be organized to create awareness in these areas for women empowerment, stopping child marriage, examining health of students, cleanliness campaign and construction of toilets. Governorgave directions to initiate research and projects on topics including environment, sustainable development, women empowerment, child protection etc.
