Citizenship certificate to 28 persons of Sindhi Samaj
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan presented citizenship certificate to 28 persons belonging to the Sindhi Samaj at a programme organized at the CM House. These people were staying in the state since several years as displaced persons. Welcoming all the displaced persons in the programme Chouhan said that they should reside with honour, move ahead and work for the progress of the state and the country.
CM said that those persons who have acquired citizenship today, these moments are of happiness as they were waiting for this moment since years. He said that this country and the city belonged to them. If citizens evolving from the civilization developed along the Sindhu river have to leave their roots for some reason and have come to our country, then this country belongs to them also and they are welcome here. The Chief Minister said that the solution for merger problem will be resolved soon. A policy has been made in this regard. He invited the Sindhi Samaj for the Cheti Chand festival to be organized at the CM House on coming April one.
