Closed Mines of Chhindwara to be started again
Chhindwara. The closed mines of Vishnupuri and Moari of Chhindwara district will be started again. Assurance in this connection was given by the Union Minister for Coal Piyush Goyal during the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s meeting with him at New Delhi. The union Minister said that Vishnupuri and Moari mines were closed due to the security reasons, these mines will be started again taking into account the strict security norms. Temporary workers of these mines and their families will be benefitted by this. Union Ministers for Narendra Singh Tomar and Thawarchand Gahlot were present on the occasion.
CM Chouhan informed that work is not going well at Jamuniya mine, which was started in 2015. He urged the union minister to accelerate the work speed of the mine. Moreover, Chouhan forwarded a demand to start work at Dhankasha mine at the earliest, the foundation of which was laid in 2013. Chouhan further mentioned that the temporary workers of these mines will not be transferred outside due to the fast work at the mines and the workers connected to the mines directly and indirectly will not face shortage of employment.
