Concrete house to be built for every poor by Year 2023

Chhatarpur. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that no poor will remain deprived of house in the state. Every poor, labourer will be provided pattas under Mukhya Mantri Jankalyan Yojana. Government will construct concrete houses for every poor person residing in Madhya Pradesh by Year 2023. He said that not only has the government showed concern to provide benefits of development to every class of the state, but it has also kept the interests of everyone in mind so that direct benefits are provided to them through several schemes. He said that our government is committed to eradicate poverty as soon as possible. Benefits will be distributed to unorganized labourers who get registered between April 1 to May 31 from June 13. Benefit distribution programmes will be organised in the presence of public representatives in every block of the state.

CM Chouhan was addressing the conference of unorganized labourers and tendu patta collectors of Chhatarpur and Panna district in Bamitha village near Khajuraho of Chhatarpur district. Under the Unorganised Labourers Welfare Scheme, registration cards were given to labourers, pattas were distributed for houses, bonus amount to tendu patta collectors, slippers to women, shoes to men under Charan Paduka scheme besides water bottles and benefits were distributed to other beneficiaries of various government schemes by the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister performed bhoomi-pujan and dedicated several development works costing more than nearly Rs 306 crore near Chhatarpur and Panna district. He transferred Rs 4 crore 79 lakh bonus amount online to the bank accounts of the tendu patta collectors.

Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan Yojana - Giving information about the Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana, the Chief Minister said that every person of the state who is not income tax payer, owns less than two and a half acres of land and is not in government service, all will be covered under this scheme. He said that every labourer from the state will be given residential land and a permanent house. The government will not allow any poor to remain homeless. He said that labourer women will be provided the benefit of financial assistance for calorie diet before and after delivery. Government will bear the fees for the education of poor children from Class I to College and for admission in higher education institutes. Children of labourers will also get the benefit of Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana. No child will be deprived of the basic right to education in the state. He said that the state government has made permanent arrangement to provide direct benefit of development to every citizen.

CM Chouhan said that government will arrange free treatment of poor and labourers. Assistance will be given to the poor through Ayushman Bharat Yojana, State Illness Assistance Cell, Mukhya Mantri Swechhanudan etc. He said that electricity will be provided to the poor at a flat rate of Rs 200 per month. Self-help groups will be linked to other professions. They will be given bank linkage by the government besides skill development work. Referring to the various schemes run by the government for the poor, the Chief Minister said that the state government is a government connected to social concerns. What has not happened anywhere in the world, is now happening in Madhya Pradesh.
