Consensus reached between Shri Singaji Thermal Power Project affected families and Power Generating Co.
Bhopal. A meeting between the Principal Secretary of Madhya Pradesh I.C.P. Keshari and nominated representatives of the affected families of Shri Singaji Thermal Power Project held in Bhopal with an objective to start power generation from the project at the earliest and rehabilitation policy concerning affected families. Member of Legislative Assembly Lokendra Singh Tomar and the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Anup Kumar Nanda were present in the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that advertisement for recruitment of Plant Assistant (ITI) on 100 posts should be released by the Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company. Applications received from the applicants for this post in the past should be considered valid. A condition should be laid for producing consensus letter from the affected families at the time of applications. In absence of consensus letters, applications from the applicants shall not be accepted. The Directors of Power Generating Co. A.K. Tailor and Manjeet Singh and Engineer in Chief A.K. Nema were present in the meeting.
