Contribution of farmers in prosperity and progress of MP significant
Bhopal. Urban Development Minister Maya Singh said that farmers have made significant contribution in the progress and prosperity of the state. It is due to tireless efforts of farmers that the state could rise from its bimaru condition to be included among developed states.
Terming the Mandsaur incident as unfortunate, Maya Singh said that Madhya Pradesh is a peace loving state. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has always considered the agony of farmers as his own and has always been eager to assist them. In fact he has taken the decision for purchase of Tuar and Urad on support price from June 10 at the Krishi Cabinet today. He has taken decisions like re-inclusion of defaulter farmers in the credit net and samadhan yojana for farmers to give them beneficial value apart from the cost on yield.
Minister Singh has appealed to the people of the state to support the state government by maintaining peace and harmony in the state. Urban Development Minister Smt. Singh assured that every problem will be solved through mutual discussion.
