Cotton crop to be sold at Rs. 5 thousand 400 per quintal

Chhindwara. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during the Manch Sabha organized at Sounsar of Chhindwara district said that the price of cotton has been fixed as Rs. 5 thousand 400 per quintal. Farmers will get Rs. 1700 per quintal for maize to ensure direct benefit to farmers.

Sambal is poor’s strength - Moreover, Chouhan mentioned that Sambal Yojana is meant for poor and middle class. This scheme has become strength of poor. Not only people belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe but small businessmen, workers, cart pullers of general category and minority have been included in this scheme. We have already started providing benefits of the scheme. This scheme is also working in a way to provide social security to this category.

Will not let relations break with nieces and nephews - The Chief Minister said that he has strong relation with nieces and nephews. They love us and we wish that this relation never breaks. He also dedicated and laid foundation stone of development works costing Rs. 128 crore and Rs. 121 crore at Sounsar and Pandhurna respectively.

The Minister In-Charge of the district Gourishankar Bisen, MLA Chowdhary Chandrabhan Singh, Chairman of Mahakoushal Development Authority Santosh Jain, President of Nagar Panchayat Raju Parmar, Chairman District Cooperative Bank Marot Rao Khavse, other Public Representatives and citizens in large number were present on the occasion.
