Deputy Election Commissioner reviews election preparations
Bhopal. Deputy Election Commissioner of the Election Commission of India Chandrabhushan Kumar and Director Vikram Batra reviewed law and order system, deployment of central security forces, communication system, expense control and preparations for polling during elections in Morena, Bhind, Datia, Shivpuri and Bhopal districts of the state. The Deputy Election Commissioner also acquired information from the general observers, police observers and expenditure observers appointed by the Election Commission.
Director (Election Expenditure) of the Election Commission of India, Vikram Batra, issued instructions to remain conscious and cautious for effective action and the Chief Electoral Officer of the state V.L. Kanta Rao directed collectors for independent, unbiased, peaceful and smooth polling.
Divisional Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, Collector and Superintendent of Police were present during the review.
