Dial 100 scheme to call police from November 1

Home and Jail Minister Babulal Gaur has said that 'Dial-100 Scheme' to call police will be implemented throughout the state from November 1. 
Gaur reviewed law & order situation after inspection of Central Jail at Satna today. Gaur inspected arrangements for lodging, food, treatment and various employment-oriented trainings for prisoners at Satna Central Jail. 
He said that every jail should become medium to reform life and conduct of prisoners. The Minister said that concrete security arrangements should be made at places of religious and tourism importance at the venues of fairs and festivals. 
He informed that Satna district would be provided 20 vehicles under 'Dial-100 Scheme'. The Minister told police officers to hold dialogue with people to maintain law and order. He said that police should behave decently with people.
 It should be ensured that crimes decline in society, which is its prime duty. The Minister also sought information about nature of crimes in the division, traffic arrangements and security arrangements on Deepawali at Chitrakoot. He laid special emphasis on making concrete security arrangements and maintaining cleanliness on Parikrama path during Kamadgiri Parikrama on Deepawali.
