Governor dedicates Jeevan-Jal Project

Dhar. In order to provide pure drinking water to villagers, the Governor Anandiben Patel dedicated ‘Jeevan-Jal’ project at Patdi village of Dhar district. Governor informed the villagers that this project has been established by the Clinton Foundation, Tata Trust and Drinkwell Technology in cooperation with the District Administration.

Governor further mentioned that 20 litre pure drinking water at the rate of 50 paisa per litre will be provided by the plant to each family under the project. Informing the villagers about the Swachcha Bharat Mission and to protect themselves from the diseases, she informed that this unique project has been established to ensure their good health.

Moreover, the Governor observed the plant. She also distributed benefits of the Union Government’s schemes to the beneficiaries. President of Jila Panchayat Smt. Malti Mohan Patel, President Janpad Lalji Dabar, other Public Representatives and Villagers in large number were present on the occasion.
