Grant to be given to Gou-Shalas for Gou-Sanrakshan
Dhar. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made announcement in a programme held on the occasion of 39th Deekshaant Diwas and 61th birth anniversary of Gurudev Rishabhchandra Sureeshwar at Mohankheda of Dhar district, that grant of Rs. 17 per cow will be given to Gou-Shalas of the state for Gou-Sanrakshan. He mentioned that the state government by drawing inspiration from Gurudev has started building sanctuary at Agar for cows’ protection. Gurudev, while presenting memento to Chouhan honoured and blessed him with Mukhya Mantri Ratna Samman. He also presented felicitation letter to Chouhan in the programme. At the beginning of the function, Chouhan presented shawl-shreephal and offered kesar to Gurudev. The Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thawarchand Gehlot was present in the programme.
Maximum provision for poor section in Budget - The Chief Minister Chouhan has said that the state government has started Sambal Yojana for poor, labourers and destitute categories by drawing inspiration from Gurudev. Elaborating on the scheme, Chouhan informed that One crore 82 lakh persons of these categories have registered under the scheme. He said that there is nothing big than service to suffering humanity in the world. The Jain community has played an important role to show the path of public welfare to the state government. He further stated that provisions have been made in the state’s budget to spend maximum amount for the welfare of poor section. At present, wheat, rice and salt at the rate of Re. One per k.g. are being provided to 5 crore 50 lakh poor families in the state without any discrimination of caste and creed.
