Maa Ahilya Smarak to be built in Indore

Indore. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan laid the foundation of a flyover bridge constructed at a cost of Rs 40 crores 50 lakhs at Pipalyahana Square in Indore on Monday. Mahajan said on the occasion that Indore is developing at a fast pace. Hence the bypass will be developed further.

CM said that Maa Ahilya Smarak will be constructed in Indore by the Indore Development Authority. He said that the poor families will be given concessions in residential complex being constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. They will be provided houses at nearly half the market rate and 37 percent less rate than the guideline. Poor families will be given grant of Rs 2 lakh 65 thousand. He praised Indore for having bagged the first position in cleanliness at the national level and the Green Indore campaign. Shri Chouhan said that along with Clean Indore, Green Indore was also the need of the hour.

Mayor Malini Lakshman Singh Goud and MLA Mahendra Hardia, Ramesh Mendola, Usha Thakur and Rajesh Sonkar and Chairman of Indore Development Authority Shankar Lalwani were also present on the occasion.
