Madarsa Board to conduct Middle School exam through open system

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Madarsa Board will conduct Middle School examination for Class VIII through open education system for drop-outs among minorities. The examination will be conducted in Bhopal and Burhanpur city in the first phase.

The School Education Department has granted permission to conduct the open exam. This examination will be conducted on the pattern of National Institute of Open Schooling. Gifts worth over Rs 7 crore received in Pranam Pathshala - A scheme named Pranam Pathshala has been started for improvement in the infrastructure and other set-up in government schools and hostels of the state through public participation. So far material worth Rs 7 crore 15 lakh has been obtained in this Yojana in the state.

In a letter to the Project Coordinators of the districts, the Rajya Shiksha Kendra has issued directions to make the scheme more effective. The coordinators have been told to make entries mandatorily of the gift material obtained by the government schools and hostels on the Pranam Pathshala School Gift Scheme Portal. The coordinators have also been told to launch an extensive campaign of the scheme in the districts. In a meeting of the School Education Department and TRIFEC in connection with the gift scheme recently, important decisions were taken to increase public participation. The district coordinators and Industry Department officials have been told to work jointly.
