Mahayagya of development of poor and hardworking people not to stop now in state
Damoh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said at the unorganised labourers and tendu patta collectors’ conference that the Mahayagya of the development of the poor and hardworking people of the state will not stop now. Our government and every citizen of the state will complete the Mahayagya together. The Chief Minister said that our state is the only state which provided wheat, rice and salt at the rate of Re 1 per kg to the poor. No poor person of the state will now sleep hungry. Every poor person will be given residential land pattas and will be made owners of pucca houses. Every poor person will be given free medical treatment. State government will bear the fees of the entire education of poor children.
Jan-Kalyan Yojana programme to be held in all development blocks on June 13
CM Chouhan said that programmes will be organized for registered beneficiaries of Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana at all development block headquarters of the state on coming June 13. Cheques of benefits of various schemes will be presented to the beneficiaries during the programme. He said that 5-member committees will be constituted from each village and each ward to keep watch over the scheme. He gave detailed information of the scheme.
Bhoomi-pujan/dedication of works worth Rs 140 crores - CM Chouhan performed bhoomi-pujan and dedicated development and construction works worth Rs 140 crores in Damoh and Sagar district during the conference. In addition to this, he distributed benefits to more than 40 thousand beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes. He distributed charan padukas and water bottles to more than 18 thousand tendupatta collectors in Sagar and Damoh district.
