Make workplan to train teachers for environment awareness

Bhopal. Environment Minister, Antar Singh Arya has said that teachers should be trained for increasing awareness towards environment. Work plan should be made for this. He said that with the training, teachers will be able to create environmental awareness among the children. This was stated by Minister Arya while presiding over the meeting of the Second Annual General Meeting of Madhya Pradesh CDM Agency of EPCO. Managing Director of EPCO Anupam Rajan was also present on the occasion.

Arya said that neem trees should be planted along the national and state highways. He said that plantation should be made on the barren hills of 4-5 districts of West Nimad as a pilot project.

It was told that 22 training workshops were conducted in 10 divisions of the state. As many as 854 science faculty from all districts have been trained on climate change. At least 85 thousand 173 school students and citizens witnessed the exhibition through Science Express in Madhya Pradesh.
