Medical College to be started in Vidisha from August
Vidisha. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made announcement during the Kisan Sammelan held at Vidisha today that Medical College will be started from the month of August in Vidisha. People of Vidisha and its vicinity will get proper treatment comfortably for serious illnesses. Chouhan transferred an amount of Rs. 445 crore towards crop insurance online in the bank accounts of One lakh 33 thousand farmers. He also laid foundation and dedicated construction works worth Rs. 170 crore of Vidisha district.
Chouhan mentioned that wheat is being procured from the farmers in the current year at the rate of Rs. 2 thousand per quintal including support price. Apart from this, gram, urad and moong and other crops are also being procured by the state government to enable farmers to get profitable value for their agriculture produce. He further mentioned that the State Government intends that agriculture must be made a profitable occupation at any cost. Chouhan informed that over 33 thousand crore has been deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers of the state during the last one year under the various schemes. Moreover, he informed that efforts are being made to export Madhya Pradesh’s soybean to China. Discussions are taking place at high level in this connection.
Moreover, Chouhan has said that Sambal Yojana is being implemented to bring happiness in life of every poor of the society. Electricity bills worth over Rs. 44 crore of the registered unorganized labourers and other eligible persons have been waived off under the scheme. He informed that arrangements are being made for those unorganized labourers and other eligible persons, who are not able to get themselves registered under the scheme yet.
