#EPCO’s PGDEM examination from April 24
Bhopal. The annual examination of EPCO’s Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management (PGDEM) would be held from April 24 to May 2, 2017. On the first five days, the written examination will held followed by verbal examination. The admission to PGDEM for the academic year 2017-18 will begin after April. EPCO Institute of Environmental Studies is running the PGDEM course since the last four years which is based on distant mode for a period of one year. People from various cadres are informed about the environmental problems and their management in the course. Apart from classroom teaching, practical and area based knowledge is also imparted.
The institute was established in the year 2011-12 with the aim of creating public awareness, enhancement of knowledge and capacity building in the field of environment conservation and management. In the last five years, 65 training programmes have been conducted.
Environment Planning and Coordination Organization (EPCO) has been developed as a prestigious think tank on environmental issues. It has done several innovative works in the form of an autonomous body which includes awareness towards environment and various project works with the state government.
