Governor sees children’s cultural programmes

Bhopal. Various cultural programmes focusing patriotism were presented by the children of employees and officers of the Raj Bhavan on the eve of the Independence Day at Raj Bhavan in the presence of the Governor Anandiben Patel. The Governor watched the presentation with utmost joy and enthusiasm and appreciated it. Patel also observed art exhibition of children, who emerged as winners of the competition held at Raj Bhavan during summer season. The Secretary to the Governor D.D. Agrawal, Eminent Citizens and people in large number were present on the occasion. This is the first occasion in the history of the Raj Bhavan that cultural programme was held at Raj Bhavan on the eve of Independence Day. The solo plays based on tales of personality and sacrifices of Freedom Fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh Rani Durgavati, Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi and others were showcased by the children during the cultural programme. Tunes of patriotism were presented on orchestra during the programme.
