Special Checking Campaign against vehicles without Third Party Insurance

Bhopal. Third party insurance has been made mandatory for all vehicle owners. Continuous checking is being done in the entire state for this purpose. A special checking campaign is being launched in nine districts against vehicle owners without third party insurance till April 4. These districts include Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Rewa, Sagar, Satna and Chhindwara.

It may be noted that it becomes difficult to pay compensation to victims in cases of road mishaps involving vehicles without insurance. Thus third party insurance for vehicles has been made mandatory. There will be a rise in vehicle insurance and injured would be able to get insurance fund. Vehicle owners have been instructed to renew their insurance in case of expiry. In this connection the Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety has given instructions that at least third party insurance of vehicles is must so that it ensures cent percent insurance of vehicles.
