MyGov is a strong medium to communicate with common man
Bhopal. MyGov portal has provided a strong and better medium to communicate with common man. This has helped in preparing schemes according to the feelings and requirements of the target group. The portal is a strong, simple and exoteric medium to exchange views between the government and common man. Moreover, MyGov also exhibits the level of reach of government’s efforts, what are their effects and what is needed to bring reforms and new provisions in various schemes and programmes. Chief Secretary Basant Pratap Singh was addressing the programme held on the occasion of completion of one year of MyGov at Mantralaya. Participants of various competitions organized under the MyGov and for productive imaginations were also awarded on this occasion.
MyGov gave opportunity to apprise government with sentiments and thoughts concealed in diary - During the programme, the participant Karishma Suman while sharing her experience in connection to the portal stated that this platform has provided an opportunity to intimate government with feelings and thoughts towards the government schemes and programmes instead of keeping it concealed in diary or heart. It was informed on the occasion that the MyGov portal provides an important opportunity to connect community and government through suggestions and views. This helps in establishing mutual communication through discussions, public opinion, blog and chatting. Subjects related to the interest of the citizens like Public Service Guarantee Act, Employment for Youth, Health Services, Women Empowerment and Security, Freedom from Malnutrition, Samagra Swachchata Mission, Smart City, Education and Tourism have been discussed on this portal. Moreover, awareness on de-addiction, Sambal Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana has been spread and publicity campaign has also been conducted through this platform.
More than 30 departments of the state government have conducted over 100 campaigns through this platform. Reciprocal publicity activities have been conducted up to 3 lakh 92 thousand citizens through social media. Citizen participation programmes and awareness campaigns have also been conducted in Indore, Gwalior, Ratlam, Singruali, Shivpuri and Alirajpur.
The Additional Chief Secretary of Forest K.K. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Ayush Department Shikha Dubey, Principal Secretary Farmer Welfare Rajesh Rajora, Principal Secretary Tribal Affairs Department S.N. Mishra, Principal Secretary Home and Transport Malay Shrivastava and Principal Secretary to CM and Public Service Management Hariranjan Rao were present in the programme.
