Rain above normal in 12 districts and normal in 19 districts recorded in state

Bhopal. Rain over 20 percent above normal has been recorded in 12 districts of the state during the monsoon from June one to July 5. Normal rain has been recorded in 19 districts of the state. Low and scanty rain have been recorded in 18 and 2 districts of the state respectively.

Districts where above normal rain recorded include Chhindwara, Shahdol, Umaria, Indore, Badwani, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Morena, Sheopur Kalan and Sehore.

Similarly, normal rain recorded in Seoni, Mandla, Narisnghpur, Dhar, Jhabua, Khargone, Khandwa, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Bhopal, Raisen, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Harda and Betul district.

Districts with low rain include Jabalpur, Balaghat, Sagar, Damoh, Dindori, Tikamgarh, Chhattarpur, Rewa, Singruali, Sidhi, Satna, Anuppur, Alirajpur, Burhanpur, Shivpuri, Ashok Nagar, Datia and Hoshangabad. Scanty rain has been recorded in Katni and Panna district.
