Retirement age will not cause shortage in job
Tikamgarh. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while addressing the mahila sammelan and krishak mela held at Jatara Block Headquarters of Tikamgarh district, said that increase in the retirement age of the government employees by the state government will not cause any shortage in job opportunities for youth. He assured labourers that labourer of all the category will be given benefit of all the government schemes under the Asangathit Shramik Kalyan Yojana. CM dedicated and performed bhoomi poojan of development and construction works worth Rs. 50 crore 50 lakh in Tikamgarh district. He also distributed benefits of Rs. 91 crore 94 lakh among one lakh 4 thousand 170 beneficiaries under the various schemes. He also presented residential pattas to landless, free gas connections to women under the Ujjawala Yojana and certificates of Ladli Laxmi yojana to the girls.
CM said that every possible effort will be made by the government for progress and happiness of people of Bundelkhand region. Irrigation facilities are being expanded constantly to make farmers of the state happier than the farmers of Punjab and Haryana. Informing about the schemes of the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development department and important decisions of the government, Large gathering present on the occasion that an additional amount of Rs. 200 per quintal will be provided against the wheat procured last year. This amount will be transferred in the bank accounts of the farmers on April 16. He further informed that an additional amount of Rs. 265 per quintal will be transferred in the bank accounts of the farmers on wheat this year in addition to minimum support price of Rs. 1735 per quintal together on June 10. State government will provide loan at the rate of zero percent interest to the defaulter farmers under the Samadhan yojana. These farmers are required to deposit principal amount in just 2 instalments. Loan on zero percent interest will be provided immediately after the deposit of principal amount. He stated that the state government will bear interest under the scheme.
Informing about the Asangathit Shramik Kalyan Yojana, Chouhan said that the state government will provide assistance at every step to male and female labourer of every category. Benefits of the government schemes will be given to each registered labourer under the scheme, they will made land and house owners by giving them residential pattas and education expenses of the children of labourer families will be borne by the state government. He described the scheme in detail on the occasion. He also administered pledge to the people not to treat son and daughter differently, to send their children to school and to keep sanitation around their houses and surrounding places.
