Sacrifice of Bundelkhand bravehearts cannot be forgotten
Bhopal. Governor Anandiben Patel said at the Bundeli Samaroha and Amrit Mahotsav Kalash Sthapana here that Bundelkhand has given birth to great warriors, Rajas, literrateurs and social workers. The sacrifice of the heroes of Bundelkhand cannot be forgotten.
Governor said that cultural and literary traditions of Bundelkhand are great and ancient. Chhatrasal was such a great warrior, who tried to save the society and the country with both the pen and the sword. Chhatrasal did not only established the state of Bundelkhand, but also created literature and live poetry. Patel congratulated the famous Bundeli poet Kailsah Madbaiyya for the Amrit Mahotsav. She said that Bundelkhand today needs to be developed. Our Prime Minister has created an atmosphere of unity, development, harmony and brotherhood in the country by giving a slogan 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas'.
Governor felicitated Bundeli poet Shri Kailash Madbaiyya, along with other poets and journalists with shawl and shriphal, On this occasion, the Governor also saw the Rye dance performed by the Bundeli dance group. The programme was attended by MP Alok Sanjar, Senior Litterateur Ganga Prasad Barasaiyya and Bundeli literary lovers. She also released books and poetic texts of litterateurs and poets including Kailash Madbaiyya’s book ‘Mayur Pankh’.
