Sangeet Samaroh ‘Raag Ameer’ from March 12 at Indore

Indore. A three day Sangeet Samaroh ‘Raag Ameer’ is being organized in the memory of renowned musician Ustad Ameer Khan at Ravindra Natya Grah of Indore from March 12. A photo exhibition focusing Ustad Ameer Khan is also being organized in the Pritamlal Dua gallery during the programme. The exhibition will be inaugurated at 5.30 p.m. on March 12. There is no entry fee for the programme.


The programme being organized by the Ustad Allauddin Khan Sangeet and Kala Academy from March 12 to 14 will begin with the vocal presentation of Hemant Pendse followed by Pakhawaj presentation by Ravishankar Upadhya. On the second day,  Manoj Kumar will present Dhrupad recital followed by vocal presentation by Ramneek Singh of Delhi.


On the concluding day of the programme i.e. March 14, vocal presentation by Raghunandan Panshikar will be held followed by duet presentation of Sitar and Violin by Partho Ghosh of Calcutta and Santosh Nahar of Delhi, accompanied by Darjay Bhoumik, Hitendra Dixit on tabla, Romandas on Pakhawaj and Vivek Bansod, Upkar Godbole and Milan Upadhya on Harmonium.
