Smart Phones to Patwaris

Bhopal. Chief Secretary B.P.Singh held meeting of the Revenue Officers of Sagar division in Sagar. He gave instructions to the officers to pay special focus on the pending revenue case. Such cases should be solved at the earliest. Revenue officers must discharge their duties with entire seriousness and devotion, within the time limit. No revenue case should be kept in abeyance. All the revenue cases should be registered on RCMS (Revenue Case Management System) portal, so that monitoring of each case should be made in a better manner. Principal Secretary Revenue, Arun Pandey, Secretary Revenue, Hariranjan Rao, Chief Revenue Commissioner, Manish Rastogi, Commissioner Land Records, M. Selvendran, Divisional Commissioner and concerned District Collectors besides Revenue Officers were present in the meeting.

CS said that Revenue Officers should always be vigilant and wakeful, while discharging their duties with utmost seriousness. Redress the cases finally, which are pending since the last 2 years or more. He further mentioned that all the revenue officers must redress hundred percent cases, which are pending in their offices and the courts. All the revenue officers should provide customer friendly services to the applicants by bringing improvement in work in their respective offices.

Furthermore, B.P. Singh said that the revenue department is being equipped with modern facilities. Smart phones will be provided to the patwaris now. They will conduct mobile girdawari after downloading the app in their mobiles. Good training will be imparted to the new patwaris to enable them to perform well in the field. Singh stated that new revenue case received by the office or court, should be registered on RCMS portal immediately. He told the revenue officers for announcement of B-1 in every village. He mentioned that the entire undisputed mutation, partition and demarcation cases should be redressed immediately. Entire payment against diversion, nuzul and penalty should be recovered. Every possible effort should be made to increase government revenue. In addition to this, the Chief Secretary told to check the patwaris’ bags and to review the work of revenue inspectors to bring speed in the redressal of pending revenue cases. Shri Singh said that demarcation cases should be redressed by ETS machines.
