State Outreach Conference of Ministry of External Affairs in Bhopal
Bhopal. A State Outreach Conference is being organized by the Ministry of External Affairs in cooperation of the state government on September in Bhopal. In a meeting held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary B.P. Singh at Mantralaya, it has been informed that the conference is being organized with an objective to establish mutual communication between the Ministry of External Affairs, State Government and common man in connection to the activities being conducted by the Ministry of External Affairs.
Information regarding redressal of problems in connection to passport service, pre departure training for expatriates, protection of interest of Indian expatriates, problems of Indian students studying abroad and their welfare, marriages of Indian expatriates and voting will be given in the conference. The Union Minister of State for External Affairs V.K. Singh will take part in the conference being organized under the Videsh Sampark initiative.
The Chief Secretary has given instructions that participation of universities’ students, tourism units and representatives of industrial along with trade organizations should be ensured in the conference, so that the common man should understand the working procedures of the Ministry of External Affairs and for expansion of public facilities. The Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Vivek Agrawal and other Officers were present in the meeting.
