Bhopal. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Cooperatives, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation Vishwas Sarang said that children should also become good and truthful citizens beside doctor, engineer and officer. He was addressing a Pritibhashali Vidyarthi Protsahan Samaroh at Motilal Nehru Stadium
MoS said that students should make their contribution to the society and the country. He said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has started a scheme to distribute laptops to outstanding students. This year funds were distributed to nearly 70 thousand students for purchase of laptops. He said that the state government is working for development of people belonging to all sections and in every area. He symbolically distributed laptop amount and certificates to a few students.
District Panchayat President Manmohan Nagar, Member Child Rights Conservation Commission Brijesh Chouhan, public representatives, officers and talented students of Bhopal division were present at the ceremony. Students who scored more than 75 percent marks in Class XIIth were given funds to purchase laptops at the ceremony. People viewed the live telecast of Chief Minister Shirvaj Singh Chouhan from Jabalpur on LED screen at the ceremony.
