Training to make India mosquito-free
Bhopal. A Globe India-Country Mosquito Training programme is being organized in Environment Planning and Coordination Organisation (EPCO) from 10.30 am to 5 pm on August 31 to make India a mosquito-free country. As many as 40 teachers from eco-club schools of the National Green Corps Scheme will take part in the one-day training programme to be organized under the joint aegis of Union Ministry for Environment, Forest and Climate Change with the aim of making India free of mosquitoes.
Teachers from Vidisha, Raisen, Hoshangabad and Sehore district along with Bhopal district are taking part in the training. The programme aims at making teachers aware towards the bacteria spread by mosquitoes, identifying various kinds of larvae through experimentation method and give information about the preventive measures to stop them from spreading. Union Environment Minister Joint Director Dr. Ritesh Joshi and a team of experts will impart training.
Teachers will impart training to students in their respective schools after completing their training. The students who complete training will further generate awareness against mosquitoes in their families and neighbourhood.
