University teachers and students must visit villages to teach kids
Sanchi. Teachers and students of universities and colleges should go to the villages and teach children. Children studying in Class 8th to 10th of all schools should be taken on a tour of universities and factories, so that they get inspired and aspire to reach there. The Governor Anandiben Patel was addressing the closing ceremony of a workshop organized on ‘Writings of Indian philosophy in modern perspective’, at the University of Buddhist-Indian Knowledge Studies in Sanchi.
Vice-Chancellor of Sanchi University Acharya Dr. Yagyeshwar S. Shastri told about the objectives of the workshop. Sanchi University has taken up the challenge of Writings of Indian Philosophy in the modern perspective. This is a 10-year project. The Chief Minister has presented an amount of Rs 10 crores to the University for this work. This project will be completed through small modules (projects). The Vice-Chancellor told that all research presented in the workshop will be compiled and published for which an editorial team will be constituted.
