Work together to build children’s future

Bhopal. Governor Anandiben Patel, on the occasion of concluding programme of 5 day Summer Science Festival held for the children of Rajbhavan employees said that these kinds of competitions and programmes give an opportunity to refine talents of children and to develop a sentiment to safeguard nation besides emotions towards the country. While urging for cooperation to make Madhya Pradesh a T.B. free state, first in the country, she said that all the citizens should adopt at least one child suffering from T.B. She further mentioned that we all have to work together to ensure bright future of all the children of the state.

Governor distributed prizes to the winner students of the competition. The Festival was organized with cooperation of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology and Jawahar Bal Bhavan at Rajbhavan from April 23 to 27. Telescopes were gifted all the children by the council.

Moreover, the Governor stated that there is a need to conduct awareness campaign to make people of our country healthy like citizens of developed countries like China and Japan. She mentioned that arrangement will be made for the children of Rajbhavan employees to inspect jail, so that the children should restrain themselves from doing anything wrong by watching the punishment, food and life of prisoners.

Director General of the Council Naveen Chandra has said that in future math subject will also be included in this kind of programme. Director of Jawahar Bal Bhavan R.K. Arya mentioned that this type of programmes are must to connect children with their parents and to remove feeling of loneliness in this era of social media. This type of programmes also encourages creative and literary talents of children.
